MavenTM Clinic

We know it’s hard to take care of yourself during training and its even tougher to avail yourself of the resources out there for expectant and new moms.  Maven Clinic makes everything accessible at your fingertips despite your irregular schedule.  If you are in the intervention group, we will provide you immediate online access to Maven Clinic, where you will have 24/7 access to virtual perinatal consultative care (e.g. OB/GYN’s to ask questions you may have forgotten to ask during your last appointment, information on delivery plans, lactation consultation, career coaching) to help you take care of yourself and your baby.

SnooTM
By Happiest Baby

You’re tired and need to sleep at night. Sometimes you need an extra pair of hands to soothe your baby so you can do a load of laundry. We get it. The Snoo gently rocks and soothes your baby and rapidly calms upsets, helping both you and your baby get rest.  Designed by pediatrician Harvey Karp at USC, the included swaddle and bassinet design reduces dangerous rolling during sleep.

If you are in the intervention group, you will be delivered a SnooTM bassinet around 32 weeks of pregnancy. This will give you plenty of time to set it up and familiarize yourself.  Technical support, infant sleep coaching, and tips are always available through Happiest Baby or the Snoo app. You will return the Snoo via included packaging after 6 months (your baby will grow too large for it at this time).

WillowTM
Wearable Breast Pump

It can be hard to keep providing breastmilk after you go back to work. Your supply might drop, it’s hard to take breaks frequently, and the lactation room is far away! We know this is a major source of stress and frustration. If you are in the intervention group, a WillowTM wearable breast pump will be delivered to your home with free milk storage bags. These are yours to keep, even after the study is over. This pump can be used exclusively or in tandem with other pumps, but is intended to help you express milk at work with less stress. It is quiet, invisible under your shirt, and you can pump even while seeing patients or doing whatever you need to do at work. To help choose the right fit, we will provide you a sizing guide, which you will use with Willow’s instructive online videos and/or a free 15 min video call with a pump sizing specialist. Willow will email you at 30 weeks of pregnancy to get this measurement (we don’t recommend sizing earlier than that due to body changes during pregnancy). At 32 weeks of pregnancy, Willow will mail you the breast pump and 3 sizes of flanges based on the measurement you provided. Some women experience more changes after delivery, so we encourage you to resize several days after the baby is born, again at 6 weeks postpartum, and any time you feel you are not meeting your lactation goals. WillowTM is here to help! If your flange size changes or you need more milk storage bags, please reach out for free supplies by emailing care-onboarding@onewillow.com (link below to Contact Willow will take you there)
